Inaugurating Project To Celebrate Traditional Festival Of Cat Hai District 2024

On the morning of March 30th, the Cat Hai district People’s Committee held an inauguration ceremony for phase 1 of the Cat Hai island resettlement area project. This project is to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s visit to Cat Hai as well as to celebrate the Cat Ba tourism season 2024.

With a total investment of about 495 billion VND, phase 1 of the Cat Hai island resettlement area project covers nearly 16 hectares and is being developed by the Cat Hai district People’s Committee. Construction began in 2029, and after five years of intensive work, the project has been completed to the satisfaction of the households in the area. The project consists of 15 bidding packages including consulting and construction services. All these packages have been completed on time, ensuring quality and efficiency. The project features a modern infrastructure with 493 plots of land ranging from 100 to 200 square meters. These plots come equipped with complete technical infrastructure to accommodate resettled households. Additionally, there are designated areas for constructing religious facilities, green spaces, and community amenities. The inauguration of this project not only marks an important event in the Cat Hai district’s traditional festival framework, commemorating the 65th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s visit to Cat Hai and the opening of Cat Hai tourism season, but also plays a cultural significance, contributes to economic development, attracts investments, and enhances social security in the district./.
