Two investment promotion conferences were successfully organized between Hai Phong City People’s Committee, the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), and LG Group, with the participation of about 200 leading Korean businesses and corporations. During these conferences, city leaders granted eight new investment certificates, and increased investment capital for six Korean companies investing in Hai Phong city, totaling 370 million USD.
To date, there are more than 100 investment projects from Korea in Hai Phong with a total capital of 12 billion USD, accounting for 40% of the total FDI capital in the city and 14% of the total Korean FDI capital in the country.
With the motto “The success of businesses is the success of Hai Phong City”, the city leaders are committed to providing maximum support for foreign businesses and investors, particularly Korean investors, to facilitate stable, long-term production and business development in the city./.
