Hai Phong Delegation Worked With Vietnamese Embassy In South Korea

Earlier, in the evening of April 23rd evening, the Hai Phong delegation led by Mr. Le Tien Chau, Secretary of the city Party Committee visited and worked with the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea. Mr. Vũ Hồ, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam in Korea received the delegation.

At the meeting, Hai Phong City’s Party Committee Secretary informed the Ambassador about the city’s economic and social situation. In recent years, Hai Phong City has witnessed many Korean investors explore investment and cooperation opportunities, contributing considerably to the city’s socio-economic development.

Mr. Le Tien Chau, Secretary of Hai Phong City’s Party Committee hoped that the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea would continuously call for large Korean investors and corporations to invest, build, and develop facilities in Hai Phong City, especially high-tech manufacturing projects in the fields of electronics, semiconductor technology, chip manufacturing, logistics, renewable energy, etc., with modern and friendly management, creating favorable conditions for Vietnamese businesses to participate in the global value chain, education and training, renewable energy, finance – banking, medical services, high-quality healthcare, real estate business, especially construction and housing projects for experts, workers, and laborers in industrial parks and industrial clusters, continue to support Korean businesses, especially LG Group to investment and construction centers for research and development, innovation, and technology transfer (R&D). The city has allocated the land fund in the North Cam River area for these projects.

Mr. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam in South Korea Vu Ho congratulated Hai Phong City for all the achievements made over the past year, emphasizing that the city was one of the leading localities in Vietnam that attracted many leading Korean businesses and corporations, which contributed to strengthening cooperation between Hai Phong City and South Korea. The Ambassador would accompany and support Hai Phong City in calling for partnerships with other Korean organizations and investors interested in education and training, especially in adding Korean language teaching programs and collaborating with universities, colleges, and vocational facilities in Hai Phong City to train high-quality human resources, connecting Hai Phong people in South Korea to the city, introducing foreign non-governmental organizations to implement programs and projects within the city’s priority orientations, such as climate change, environmental protection, education, training, healthcare and support social security./.
