Acceleration On Social Housing Projects

The social housing project at Lac Vien Depot No. 3 has a scale of 10 15-storey social housing blocks with 4456 apartments, a low-rise housing area with about 163 apartments, and a synchronous connection infrastructure system. To date, the investor is focusing on the construction in the handed-over area, striving to complete the project on schedule.

On the project site, there are about 250 workers with comprehensive technical supplies and equipment to focus on constructing a series of items. Currently, the infrastructure of the resettlement area has been completed and is ready to be handed over next December. The investor acquired about 8 hectares of clean area involving seven organizations and 89/98 households (nearly 50% of the project area). For the remaining nine households, the Ngo Quyen district People’s Committee has issued a decision to enforce land recovery, consulted with relevant departments and branches according to regulations, and expected to take measures in cases of disagreement.

The social housing project at Lac Vien Depot No.3 is one of the city’s key projects in 2023 in May Chai and Cau Tre wards of Ngo Quyen district, aiming to realize the goal of developing social housing in Hai Phong City until 2020, 2025 and 2030./.
