Cat Bi International Airport expansion project has been promptly executed by contractor partnership in an effort to enhance the capacity of the airport.
Started in late 2020, Cat Bi International Airport expansion project has the total investment of VND 489 billion. In the first phase, the parking terminal is designed to park 4 code E planes and upgraded to be the standby for Noi Bai International Airport.
As planned, the parking terminal will be put into use in December 2021. In the framework of the project of upgrading Cat Bi International Airport ratified by the P.M, this is a special project. The construction of the parking terminal facilitates Airports Corporation of Vietnam to deploy other items in the time to come.
