Verification of investment policy of Construction investment project of technical infrastructure of resettlement area serving clearance in An Lao district

(Haiphong.gov.vn) – Preparing for the 10^th session of the City People’s Council Session XV, in the morning of May 22, the Economic – Budget Commission of the City People’s Council met to appraise the Investment policy of the Construction investment project of technical infrastructure of resettlement area serving clearance for Hai Phong Sakura Golf Club and high-class resort villas in An Lao district. Comrade Pham Van Phuong, Head of Economic – Budget Commission, chaired the verification. Comrade Bui Duc Quang, Vice Chairman of City People’s Council and leader representatives of related agencies and localities attended the meeting.

The construction investment project of technical infrastructure of resettlement area serving clearance for Hai Phong Sakura Golf Club and high-class resort villas in An Lao district has a land use area of 3.4 ha in Truong Thanh commune (An Lao district). Total estimated investment is VND 65,699 billion from the city’s public investment financing. Project implementation period: 2019 – 2021. After completion, the project will form a resettlement land fund with synchronous technical infrastructure, a total area of 21,305.55 m², divided into 191 lots, serving clearance for the Hai Phong Sakura Golf Club complex Project; contribute to investment in infrastructure development as a premise for socio-economic development of An Lao district and Hai Phong city.

The Economic – Budget Commission of the City People’s Council affirmed that this is a necessary project, and at the same time noted that the investor has actively prepared the project investment, the project file has been secured in accordance with regulations, conforming with the city’s guidelines and the district’s planning, already included in the list of public investment plans of the city, under the deciding authority of the City People’s Council, is eligible for submission to the City People’s Council for consideration.

The Economic – Budget Commission of the City People’s Council urged the investor to urgently coordinate with the city’s functional departments to recalculate the total investment, area of resettlement plots, clearance funding to be close to reality; it is necessary to have a specific survey on the plan to move or underground the power line and absorb the opinions of delegates to continue reviewing and adjusting the project, completing the documents for submission to the 10^th meeting of the City People’s Council Session XV for consideration and decision.
