Transfer and receive Party organizations and Party members of Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company and Party Committee of Vicem Hai Phong Cement Company Limited

– On the morning of December 3, at the City Convention Center, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee coordinated with the Party Committee of the Central Business Sector to organize a conference to transfer and receive Party organizations and Party members of Hai Phong Joint Stock Company and Party Committee of Vicem Hai Phong Cement Company Limited.

Attending the Conference, on the part of city leaders, there are: Le Tien Chau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People’s Committee and members of the City Party Standing Committee.

Attending the Conference on the Party Committee of the Central Business Sector were Mr. Nguyen Long Hai, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Business Sector and leader of the Party Committee of the Central Business Sector.

Mr. Le Tien Chau, Secretary of the City Party Committee, handed over the Decision to transfer the Party Committee to Mr. Nguyen Long Hai, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Business Sector.

According to the Decisions of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee: Transferred the Party Committee of Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company, including 19 grassroots party organizations and 934 party members under the Hai Phong City Party Committee, to the Party Committee of Vietnam Maritime Corporation.

Transferred the Party Committee of Vicem Hai Phong Cement Company Limited, including 19 grassroots party organizations and 495 party members under the Hai Phong City Party Committee, to the Party Committee of Vietnam Cement Corporation.

 The Party Committee of the Central Business Sector awarded the Decision to receive the Party Committee of Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company and the Party Committee of Vicem Hai Phong Cement Company Limited.

 According to the Decisions of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Business Sector: Receiving the Party Committee of Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company, including 19 grassroots party organizations and 934 party members from the Hai Phong City Party Committee to the Party Committee of Vietnam National Shipping Lines, belonging to the Party Committee of the Central Business Sector.

Receiving the Party Committee of Vicem Hai Phong Cement Company Limited, including 19 grassroots party organizations and 495 party members from under the Hai Phong City Party Committee to the Party Committee of Vietnam Cement Corporation, under the Central Business Sector Party Committee.

 Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Le Tien Chau, Secretary of the City Party Committee, stated that Hai Phong Port and Vicem Hai Phong Cement are two units rich in tradition of revolutionary struggle, that contribute to the formation of the class of Vietnamese workers, where the Party cell was first established, contributing to the formation of the Hai Phong City Party Committee and the Communist Party of Vietnam. The formation and development of the two Party organizations are always closely linked to the city’s glorious traditional history; become strong Party organizations and make many important contributions throughout the process of building and developing the Party Committee of Hai Phong city.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, the Secretary of the City Party Committee acknowledged and appreciated the contributions and dedication of the Party Committee of Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company and the Party Committee of Vicem Hai Phong Cement Company throughout the period. Over the past years, we have promoted the tradition of “Solidarity – Resilience – Creativity” to constantly innovate and improve the quality of Party building work, leading to excellent completion of production and business tasks, contributing to the implementation of successfully achieved the city’s socio-economic targets.

Mr. Secretary of the City Party Committee emphasized that the transfer of Party organizations and Party members according to Regulation No. 60 dated March 8, 2022 of the Secretariat on Party organizations in corporations, corporations, and commercial banks State commerce is a major policy of the Party to improve the leadership capacity and quality of Party committees at all levels and party members, including 02 Party organizations transferred this time.

 In the coming time, although no longer directly affiliated with the City Party Committee, the units will still operate and be attached to Hai Phong, so the City Party Secretary requests that all levels of Party Committees, Party organizations, and Members strictly comply with Party regulations and State laws, ensuring operations immediately after handover, without affecting production and business activities. At the same time, we request the Party Committee of the Central Business Sector, the Party Committee of Vietnam National Shipping Lines, and the Party Committee of Vietnam Cement Corporation to always create favorable conditions and pay much attention to the Party Committee of Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company and the Party Committee of Vicem Hai Phong Cement Company so that the units continue to promote the results achieved in recent times, contributing to the overall development of the industry and the city.

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Long Hai, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Business Sector requested the Party Committee of Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company and Vicem Hai Phong Cement Company Limited to move back under the Party Committee of Vietnam Maritime Corporation and the Party Committee of Vietnam Cement Corporation continue to promote traditions and achievements, striving to successfully complete political tasks as well as Party building work, continuing continue to contribute to the overall development of Hai Phong city.

Representatives of two Party organizations, Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company and Vicem Hai Phong Cement Company Limited, both expressed that there have been great strides like today, at every stage of development, the two units have always received the deep concern of the leaders of the Party, Government, Ministries, Central branches, Hai Phong city, Vietnam Maritime Corporation and Vietnam Cement Corporation. That is the motivation and firm belief for officials, party members, and workers of the two units to overcome countless difficulties, determined to build and develop enterprises, meeting the requirements of industrialization, modernization and integration of the city and country.
