THE 20TH HAI PHONG PARTY COMMITTEE MEETING

Mr. Le Van Thanh, Secretary of Hai Phong Party Committee and Chairman of Municipal People’s Council had chaired the 20^th Party Committee meeting to evaluate the performance of the first 6 months of 2019 and set the direction for the last 6 months. The meeting also reviewed socio-economic indicators in the period 2015-2020 and the adjustment of public investment plans in the period of 2016-2020.

In the first 6 month, the socio-economic situation of Hai Phong has many breakthrough changes. Under the direction of authorities and the active participation of Municipal Fatherland Front and other socio-political organizations, the city continues to be a bright spot for the nation in developing and ensuring national defense and security. It also contributed to helping the Party Committee and the city’s government to exceed many of targets set out in the 15^thMunicipal Party Congress.

The conference also affirmed the effective implementation of the annual theme on enhancing the discipline of budget revenues and improving the investment environment. Key projects of Hai Phong continue to achieve many positive results, which set the stage for the implementation of the Resolution No. 45 of the Politburo on the city’s development by 2030. The results in the last 6 months will help municipal party committee to be more determined to complete the tasks in 2019.
