TAM BAC RIVER REFURBISHMENT PROJECT INAUGURATED

After one year, on Thursday afternoon, the People’s Committee of Hong Bang district held an inaugural for the Tam Bac River Refurbishment Project in the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Xuan Binh – Member of the Standing Board of Haiphong Party Committee, Standing Vice Secretary of Haiphong People’s Committee. This is one of the key projects of Haiphong, giving significant meaning to the urban refurbishment and creating unique features for the city’s central route.

Tam Bac River Refurbishment Project has been assigned by the People’s Committee of Hong Bang district. The project is built on the area of more than 253,000 m2 in Ha Ly, Pham Hong Thai, Phan Boi Chau, Quang Trung, Hong Bang.

At the inaugural ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Binh – Standing Vice Chairman of Haiphong People’s Committee spoke highly of the leadership of Hong Bang district in execution as site clearance; the efforts of contractors and relevant units. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Binh asked Hong Bang to fulfill the reception and handing-over of work items to soon put the construction into use, bring into play the efficiency and serve the public benefits. Right after the ceremony, city leaders and Hong Bang released 20 couples of swans into Tam Bac river.

Tam Bac river refurbishment project is completed right on the 64^th anniversary of Haiphong Liberation Day, giving great significant meaning to the city in general and Hong Bang district in particular, creating unique features to the urban city, connecting the central route and creating a pedestrian street along Tam Bac riversides, contributing to raising the quality of city’s people and becoming a destination to tourists./.
