Along Le Hong Phong street in Ngo Quyen district, there are 3 places selling watermelons with the price of 7,000 vnd/ kilogram. Many Haiphong people have come there to buy watermelons. Many of them bought for themselves, others bought in large quantity.
Watermelon with its natural sweetness weighs from 4 to 6 kilograms per fruit. Because they are exported items, they are well selected and have high quality. Sellers said in stead of leaving watermelons on fields, they are transported to these places for sale. This has greatly supported farmers affected by the epidemic. Each stand sells from 6-7 tons of watermelons each day.
Besides these, on social networks, there are many posts to encourage people to buy watermelons . Some voluntary organizations have bought and gave watermelons for free.
