STARTING TOURISM PROGRAMS IN YEAR-END TIME

After many localities allowed the opening of relic sites and service areas, several travel agencies started to launching tourism programs. However, travel agencies forecast tourism activities won’t be exciting as in summer months.

In year-end months, travel agencies will provide tourism products, mainly experience and leisure ones because the local tourism peak has gone as students came back to school. They are studying customers’ psychology to choose suitable locations and journeys for tours. Experts said at this time, customers mainly go individually.  The launching of  tourism programs aim to maintain  the activity and help next year’s tourism recover. For foreign tourist attraction and tours for Vietnamese people to go abroad, the number of tourists is forecast to not soar much due to quarantine and safety regulations although Vietnam will officially allow international flights from September 15th. Due to the effect of covid-19 pandemic, many resorts, hotels and restaurants have dismissed employees and about over 1/3 of workers in this sector have changed to other jobs. The launching of tourism programs thus must attach to the training for tourism workforce who have lost their jobs./.
