SPEEDING UP SITE CLEARANCE PROGRESS OF RAO BRIDGE PROJECT

As planned, Rao bridge investment and construction project will be completed before January 25, 2022. However, the project is likely to be finished behind schedule as the low-tempo site clearance of Le Chan, Ngo Quyen, Hai An and Duong Kinh districts. Particularly, Hai An district has to revoke more than 20,900 square meters of land. By now, the site clearance is highly focused by the district.

Out of 20,900 square meters of land for revoke to implement Rao bridge investment and construction project relating to 37 individuals and 5 organizations in Cat Bi and Dang Lam wards, of which Dang Lam ward has 16 households, individuals and two organizations (the Commerce Investment, Construction and Installation JSC., and Cat Bi ward people’s committee) with the total revoked land of 17,395 m2. The district has taken inventories over land for 16 households, individuals and one organization (the Commerce Investment, Construction and Installation JSC.,) with the land of 2,152 m2. At present, the district has handed land of ICC to the investor to execute the project. For 16 individuals and households, the district people’s committee has approved the compensation measures and only 6/16 households have received compensation money.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Thang – Director, Land Fund Development Center of Hai An district: At present, several households have yet to receive the compensation money and supports as they do not agree with the compensation prices for architectural objects and low prices for revoked land. In regards to petitions for compensation prices without foundation for settlement, the district will continue disseminating and mobilizing households to receive money and hand over site. The People’s Committee of Hai An district has also directed to rent the consultancy unit to take survey and assess the effecting levels to make foundation to solve petitions and ensure benefits for citizens under the law and regulation./.
