Mr. Duong Ngoc Tuan, Director of the City Department of Science and Technology chaired the meeting. Participants included Ms. Yun Ju Seul, Deputy Director of Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Office in Hanoi (Kotra); Mr. Lee Songho from Seoul Innovation Center; Korean companies; representatives of organizations and businesses in the city.

Technology supply and demand connection session has about 50 Vietnamese and Korean enterprises connected online.
Sharing at the session, Ms. Yun Ju Seul, Deputy Director of Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Office in Hanoi, said: Kotra has offices in 84 countries around the world; In Vietnam, there are 3 offices in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, supporting export connection and investment support for small and medium companies of Vietnam and Korea. Most of the export support projects are through an online connection. Speaking at the technology supply-demand connection session between Vietnamese enterprises and Korean enterprises, Master Duong Ngoc Tuan, Director of the City Department of Science and Technology emphasized: the connection of technology between the party in need and the party with an appropriate technology source, cooperating with domestic and foreign organizations to solve technical and technological problems and accessing advanced, modern technology information sources; support consultancy, connection, transfer, import of foreign technologies and equipment, especially in the fields of mechanical engineering – automation; processing technology in agriculture, smart manufacturing, IOT application in production to develop science and technology market, promote domestic and international cooperation, promote, transfer, master and develop technologies from abroad into Hai Phong city. Korea is a country with many advances in science and technology. The technology supply-demand session will create favorable conditions for Vietnamese and Korean organizations and enterprises to directly grasp demand, exchange information, and learn technology to have a roadmap for technology innovation consistent with the practice of the enterprises.
