OVER 90% AMOUNT OF GOODS FOR TET ARE STORED BY SUPERMARKETS

Over 90% amount of goods have been restocked by supermarkets and at the moment, many of them are still continuing storing commodities for Tet to fulfil the demands of the customers.

It has only been more than 2 weeks before the Lunar New Year 2020. To fulfil the demands of consumers, many businesses, retailers planned and prepared in advances to ensure enough supply, especially, of those popular merchandises including pork.

On the other hand, other big firms prepared ahead the amount of goods, which is from 10% to 25% higher than the amount of goods in previous year so that their supplys can be used before, during and evenly after the Tet period. According to the Ministry of Commerce, when the economy is growing, people’s income will also increase, as a result; meanwhile, the inflation rate is kept stably would also lead to higher belief of the consumers. Therefore, it is predicted that the consumption rate will rise by 10% – 12% compared to previous year and up 15% – 20% in comparison with normal monthly consumption ratio.
