INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION IN 6 MONTHS MAKES FAIRLHY HIGH GROWTH

In June 2020, the city’s industrial production saw positive signals when IIP soared 11.60% over the previous month and 17.69% over the same period. However, this was still the lowest growth in the recent 4 years.

The growth of 14.02% showed that the city’s industrial production in 6 months of this year made fairly high growth in the context the world and Vietnam’s economy has been severely impacted by  the covid-19 pandemic. This was also the highest growth in Vietnam, affirming that industrial production has made great contribution to the city’s  economic development.

With negative effects of  covid-19 pandemic on industries and production, big contracts have been postponed, enterprises have to adjust production as the pandemic is still developing complicatedly and badly affecting the global economy.. Among 54 level – 4 industrial groups, 34 out of 54 groups made negative growth.
