HAIPHONG EFFECTIVELY IMPLEMENTS COVID-19 PREVENTION AND CONTROL

In face of the complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, in the context Haiphong is adjacent to 2 provinces of Hai Duong and Thai Binh where have continuously recorded positive cases to Covid-19, the city government has taken stern measures for disease prevention and control.

The city government has established 6 inter-departmental disease prevention and control stations at the city’s gateways at Vinh Bao, Tien Lang, An Lao, An Duong and Thuy Nguyen districts. Alongside, localities have also founded the local disease control kiosks in order to closely inspect the travelling of the outsiders, especially from Hai Duong and Thai Binh. All the people when coming into the city have to take health declaration and body temperature. Besides, localities are requested to well conduct the review and control over the people from abroad and those from epidemic clusters; supervise the families having persons taking self-quarantine at home.
