Hai Phong City Leader Inspects Sites Of Key Projects

On February 16th, Mr. Le Tien Chau, Member of the Party’s Central Committee, Secretary of Hai Phong City’s Party Committee, and Head of Hai Phong National Assembly  Delegation, went on an inspection of the progress of several major projects in the city. Mr. Le Anh Quan, a Member of Hai Phong City’s Party Standing Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of Hai Phong Peoples Committee, and representatives from relevant departments, branches, and units joined the delegation.

 

Inspecting the construction project of the city’s Political-Administrative Center, the investment project of building a Convention and Performance Center, transportation system, and infrastructure system in the Bac Song Cam River Urban Area, Secretary of Hai Phong Party Committee Le Tien Chau highly appreciated the Investment Project Management Board for the construction of civil and urban works in Hai Phong City, the contractor 319 Corporation under the Ministry of Defense and the Supervision Consulting unit for having made efforts to implement the project, exceeded the set plan.

Mr. Le Tien Chau emphasized that the key projects bore important significance in implementing resolution No. 45 of the Politburo and the Resolution of the 16th Hai Phong City’s Party Congress: By 2025, the project will see its completion, and the city will move the administrative Center to the Bac Song Cam (North of Cam River). The Secretary of Hai Phong City’s Party Committee requested the Project Management Board, contractors, and supervision consultants to review the work items and develop plans and specific critical paths to promptly adjust and supplement human resources and construction equipment, ensuring the project’s due completion schedules. The city’s Party Secretary also noted that the construction process units must ensure labor safety and environmental sanitation. 

At the Social Housing Project in Lac Vien Depot 3, right after Tet, the contractor mobilized human resources and construction equipment in the construction. Recognizing the efforts of the local government and the investors in site clearance and project construction, the secretary of Hai Phong City’s Party Committee requested localities and units to continue removing obstacles and speeding up the. The project will soon put the first housing blocks into operation, meeting workers’ housing needs and contributing to completing the goal that by 2030, the city will have built nearly 35,500 social housing units./.
