This year, there has been a significant decrease in the number of workers quitting their jobs after Tet compared to previous years. The favorable business investment environment in Hai Phong City has allowed FDI enterprises to maintain and expand their production scales, as well as attract new projects in industrial parks and economic zones, creating job opportunities for people.

The genuine and productive working atmosphere prevails in all departments, especially in the production area of this 100% Korean-invested company in the days following the Lunar New Year holiday. Businesses are focused on fulfilling customer orders urgently, with plans to deliver at least 12 million products to the LG group this year.

The city’s synchronized infrastructure, convenient transportation connections, open preferential investment policies, and proactive leadership in removing obstacles for investors have attracted a significant amount of capital into the city. In 2023, Hai Phong’s industrial parks and economic zones amassed 3.5 billion USD in FDI capital from 62 new projects and 37 increases, surpassing the initial plan by 175%. In the first two months of this year, industrial parks and economic zones in Hai Phong attracted 193 million USD, with FDI reaching 164 million USD through 12 new projects and five capital increase projects, while domestic investment reached 29 million USD with three new projects. As of the end of February this year, industrial parks and economic zones in Hai Phong have attracted a total of 765 projects with an investment capital exceeding 40.1 billion USD, including 543 FDI projects with a total investment capital of 26.4 billion USD and 222 domestic investment projects with a total investment capital of 320 trillion VND (around 13.7 billion USD)./.
