GET-TOGETHER TO MARK THE 70TH FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY OF VIETNAM – RUSSIA DIPLOMATIC RELATION

Haiphong Department of Foreign Affairs, Haiphong Friendship Organizations Union and Vietnam – Russia Friendship Association have co-organized the get-together to mark the 70^th founding anniversary of Vietnam – Russia Diplomatic Relation (January 30, 1950 – January 30, 2020). Attending the event was Mr. Nilov Roman – 3^rd Secretary, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Vietnam.

Delivering his speech at the get-together, Vice Chairman of Haiphong People’s Committee Nguyen Van Thanh affirmed that Haiphong people has always defined the friendship and solidarity with the people and the country of the Russian Federation as the traditional friendship foundation. Vice Chairman of Haiphong People’s Committee hoped that the Vietnam – Russia Friendship Association will take the lead in the person to person relation, becoming the friendship bridge with Russia; expanding the person-to-person relation and exchanges with localities of Russia, making active contributions to the socio-economic development of the country in general and the city in particular.

Delivering his speech at the get-together, Mr. Nilov Roman – 3^rd Secretary, the Russian Ambassador to Vietnam expressed his great pleasure at the diplomatic relation between Vietnam and the Russian Federation in general and Haiphong in particular which has been further tightened and hoped that the relation in the commerce, science and education, socio-culture between Haiphong and localities of Russia will be further developed./.
