EXECUTION TEMPO OF HH1 – HH2 APARTMENT BUILDINGS

Statistically, Haiphong is the locality ranked 3^rd in the country in the number of old apartment buildings with the total of 205. The old ones are scattered in the areas of six districts with the total land of roughly 286,200 square meters, serve as the accommodation for nearly 7,400 households. Along with completing a range of apartment building projects in the city area, the city has resolutely speed up the execution progress of HH1 and HH2 apartment buildings, striving to put them into use in 2022.

HH1 and HH2 apartment buildings are designed to have 29 floors and one basement for each. They are built on the land of 89 thousand square meters with total of 1,016 apartments, each spanning from 46-50 square meters. Up to this moment, the contractor is executing the girders of the 14^th floor and constructing the foundation for apartments from 3th to 7^th floor. Around 450 cadres and workers are busy working on the construction site together with a large number of machines and equipment to ensure that the execution will run well, satisfy the schedule and quality.

Besides, the Department of Construction has also counseled the city to dismantle 178 downgraded apartment buildings to re-build 18 new ones at the height from 5 -29 floors with the aggregate of 7,482 apartments. The remainder of 27 apartment buildings with 1,040 households will be repaired and upgraded. The people’s committee of Haiphong has just released the Decision on approving the adjustment to Van My apartment building upgrading project, Ngo Quyen district with the estimated investment capital of VND 2,420 billion from the city’s budget./.
