COOPERATION BETWEEN VIETNAM HENED

On Sunday morning, vice chairman of Haiphong people’s committee Nguyen Van Thanh received Bulgarian Embassy delegation led by Ms Marinela Petkova – Bulgarian  extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to Vietnam on their visit to the city.

At the reception, vice chairman Nguyen Van Thanh informed the delegation about the city’s social, economic development condition. With drastic and proactive measures in covid-19 pandemic prevention, Haiphong is one of the safest locality with no infected cases in the community, not affected the production and daily life of the people. He asserted that now the city has many incentives to improve business and investment climate to attract local and foreign enterprises. Vice chairman Nguyen Van Thanh affirmed that Haiphong always pays special attention to the cooperation relation with Bulgaria in different fields, particularly in investment, economic development, trade, logistics, tourism, healthcare, education and information technology.

Sincerely thank for the warm reception of Haiphong leaders, Ms. Marinela Petkova, Bulgarian extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to Vietnam was glad as the delegation’s visit was on the 70th founding anniversary of Vietnam – Bulgaria diplomatic relation and 20th anniversary of Haiphong’s Vietnam – Bulgaria friendly association foundation. She highly appreciated the development in economy and other fields of Haiphong so far, particularly the recent approval of EVFTA, which will open great opportunities for Vietnam to export the country’s products to other nations in the region and the world./.
