Begun in May 2022, with the spirit of “overcoming the sun, winning the rain,” Hai Phong Traffic Project Management Board and construction units have overcome difficulties, applied advanced construction methods, and ensured the progress and quality of each item.
Ben Rung Bridge across Da Bach River is nearly 1,900m long and 21.5m wide. The main bridge consists of four lanes. The project is the concretization of the working program between the Standing Committee of Hai Phong City’s Party Committee and the Standing Committee of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee on cooperation to accelerate the development and complete a synchronous and modern transport infrastructure system, creating an inter-regional traffic connection system, fulfilling the travel needs of people between industrial parks and industrial clusters of the two localities.
The minimal work volume, however, requires very high technical and aesthetic quality. Therefore, the Project Management Board requested the contractor to coordinate with the supervision consultant to continue completing the items step by step to ensure project quality. According to the plan, Ben Rung Bridge will officially open to public traffic and put into operation at the end of April this year./.
