CITY LEADER CHECKS UP THE PREVENTION OF CORONAVIRUS

This morning, Chairman of Haiphong People’s Committee Nguyen Van Tung together with functional agencies checked the prevention of the acute respiratory disease caused by the new coronavirus (nCoV) in several enterprises where the Chinese laborers are working and schools across the city.

Regina company has nearly 800 Chinese labors. After Tet holiday, 442 of whom have come back work. The company has quarantined these Chinese people in isolated areas under the instructions of Haiphong Department of Health. Chairman of Haiphong People’s Committee shared difficulties with the company in the current situation, at the same time reminding them to strictly follow the medical instructions in the epidemic prevention.

At Dinh Tien Hoang primary school, Hong Bang district and Du Hang Kenh primary school, Le Chan district, chairman of Haiphong People’s Committee Nguyen Van Tung praised the activeness of the schools in the sanitation insurance and antiseptic hygiene in the school campus, asked the schools to strengthen management over the number of students coming back school, review cases whose parents once moved or got in touched with the infected persons./.
