According to statistics, Cat Bi International Airport serves from 6000 to 7000 passengers in about 50 domestic flights per day on average. Thus, the airport authority always strengthens Covid-19 prevention and control measures, especially in the upcoming April 30th and May 1st holiday.
Wearing face mask is a prerequisite condition for all passengers at Cat Bi international Airport. The airport authority always arranges staffs guarding everywhere to remind passengers to strictly implement 5K message launched by the Ministry of Health.
Currently, Cat Bi international airport has remained health declaration regulation. However, nearly 100% of passengers now have carried out online health declaration instead of completing health declaration form in paper. Besides, the international health quarantine center has also appointed 2 staffs to check passengers’ temperature for Coronavirus.
Border gate and airport are always hotspots of infectious disease. Although the Covid-19 pandemic has been controlled effectively, Cat Bi international airport authority has to raise high alert for the disease, especially in the upcoming April 30th and May 1st holiday when the number of passenger is forecasted to increase among 50% to 60% higher than normal./.
