Cat Ba Fair of Commerce, Tourism and Fishery 2023

During 9 days from March 25th to April 2nd 2023, Cat Ba Fair of Commerce, Tourism and Fishery 2023 was held on a large scale, attracting a great number of residents and visitors. This is a part of the program marking the 64th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s visit to Cat Ba–Cat Hai fishing village, Vietnam’s Traditional Fishery Day and the opening ceremony of Cat Ba Tourism 2023.

Cat Ba Trade-Tourism and Fishery Fair 2023 has 120 different stands including fashion, garments, footwear, bag, appliances, souvenirs, children’s toys, fine art products and household goods. Especially, many OCOP-labelled products are also introduced at this fair. Allied localities with Cat Ba such as Hưng Hà, Đông Hưng in Thái Bình, Định Hoá in Thái Nguyên, Yên Thế in Bắc Giang also participated in this fair with a variety of regional goods including artisanal and agricultural products.  

Cat Hai district also unveiled an exhibition introducing Cat Ba – a world’s biosphere and special national heritage, Lan Ha–one of the world’s most beautiful bays and the local area’s outstanding achievements in building a new countryside area as well as other typical economic development models./.
