Attracting Vietnamese Resources Overseas For Development

Hosted in the final three days of 2023, the conference “Promoting Overseas Vietnamese Resources, Connecting Localities and Businesses” recognized the contributions of overseas Vietnamese in terms of knowledge, management experience, and material resources for the country, who are considered a crucial resource contributing to the country’s socio-economic development.

The conference opens up many opportunities to connect and cooperate between Vietnamese associations abroad, domestic businesses, and Vietnamese expatriates’ distribution and supply systems abroad. With the development of the city and the country, the Association of Overseas Vietnamese Businessmen highly appreciates the potential, development, and opportunities for future cooperation.

On the sidelines of the conference are activities to display and introduce products of domestic manufacturing enterprises to promote and connect with businesses and overseas Vietnamese traders. The booths focus on environmentally friendly products, keeping pace with green and sustainable production trends.

Many domestic products and goods have been connected to the international market through overseas Vietnamese. The conference also saw the signing of eight memorandums of cooperation, a memorandum of understanding, exchanges of friendship and partnership between domestic businesses and associations, and associations of Vietnamese abroad in various fields aiming to expand development opportunities in the near future./.
