(Haiphong.gov.vn) – Preparing for the 10th meeting of the City Council Session XV, the Urban Committee of the City People’s Council recently held a meeting to verify the investment policy of 2 Investment projects serving clearance for the project of Hai Phong Sakura Golf Club complex in An Lao district. Comrade Do Manh Hien, Head of Urban Committee of the City People’s Council chaired the verification. Attending the meeting were representatives of leaders of related agencies and localities.

The project to build and expand Dong Cho cemetery and upgrade the right ditch surface of Lach Tray river to serve the clearance for the project of Hai Phong Sakura Golf Club complex in An Lao district with a total planned area of 4.5 ha in Truong Thanh commune (An Lao district). The total estimated investment is VND 39,997 billion from the city budget. The project implementation period is from 2019 – 2021. The project, after being completed, will serve the clearance of Hai Phong Sakura Golf Club complex project in An Lao district, meeting the need of moving the existing graves on the ground of the Hai Phong Sakura Golf Club complex, which are about 1,200 graves, and ensuring serving the burial of people in the commune for the next 50 years, which is about 2,500 tombs.
The project of expanding the temporary landfill of An Thang commune to the part of the site of An Tien commune serves the clearance for the project of Hai Phong Sakura Golf Club complex in An Lao district, which has a total area of 12,383.71 m2 in the territory of An Tien commune (An Lao district). The total estimated investment is 13,701 billion dongs from the city budget. Project implementation period: 2018 – 2021. The project, after being completed, will serve the clearance for the project of Hai Phong Sakura Golf Club complex in An Lao district, meeting the waste collection needs of people in An Tien commune who are in the area of clearance for Hai Phong Sakura Golf Club complex.
After hearing the comments of the delegates attending the meeting, the explanations of the sectors and the investor, Comrade Do Manh Hien, on behalf of the Urban Committee of the City People’s Council, affirmed that these projects were very necessary, should be implemented soon, serving clearance for the project of Hai Phong Sakura Golf Club complex in An Lao district. He requested the investor to closely coordinate with relevant functional agencies to review infrastructure construction costs and site clearance compensation; research and apply technology to treat leachate to minimize environmental pollution; consider asking opinions from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development regarding ditch upgrading and renovation (if necessary); perform well works of propaganda and mobilizing people; urgently complete documents, supplement procedures as prescribed, submit to the 10th session of the City People’s Council for consideration and decision.
