On the afternoon of June 30, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tho, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee checked the progress of the project of investment & construction of Hai Phong – Thai Binh coastal road in the form of public-private partnership (BOT) and project to expand the coastal route through Hai Phong city. Leader’s representatives from relevant agencies attended.
Through actual construction inspection, Comrade Nguyen Duc Tho emphasizes that, the capital source for the BOT project has been cleared, the goal of completing the project under the direction of the city is unchanged. The Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee asks the BOT project investor to strengthen leadership, direct, arrange enough capital sources and disburse in accordance with the plan schedule. The Hai Phong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Unit organizes the actual construction management of the expansion project to ensure consistency on the route, strictly follows the contract signed with the construction units, and strengthen the bridge construction points on the route. Tien Lang district urgently relocates the last household on the route, so as not to affect the construction progress.
According to the report of Hai Phong Coastal Road Investment Co., Ltd – the investor of the Hai Phong – Thai Binh coastal road construction investment project in the form of a public-private partnership (BOT); recently, with the support of the city, the capital for the project is officially opened, which is a condition for the construction units to actively accelerate the progress. Therefore, on the whole route, the performance value is estimated at about 40% of the contract value; Van Uc bridge is completed 29/52 abutments, main bridge fuselage, 18/48 girder spans, 16/46 deck slabs….
According to Hai Phong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Unit – the investor of the project to expand the coastal route through Hai Phong city, contractors are speeding up the construction progress to ensure the commitment; In which, Lach Thong bridge in Do Son district has completed abutments, piers, bridge decks and is under construction of railings; overpass to road 212, Tien Lang district, completing 53 bored piles, casting 25 girders, 4 bridge piers, box retaining wall behind the M2 abutment. Currently, the contractor is focusing on constructing the M1 abutment retaining wall, beaming and installing the bridge deck. The coastal road expansion project will be completed together with the Hai Phong – Thai Binh coastal road construction project according to the schedule: before the Lunar New Year 2023, complete the section from Pham Van Dong street to road 212, Tien Lang district; to April 30, 2023 to complete the entire route.
