Friendship exchange among students of Laos, Thailand and Myanmar

In the exciting ambiance to welcome the traditional Tet of Lao, Thai and Myanmar people, in April, Haiphong Friendship Organizations Union has recently collaborated with the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association and universities held a get-together among students of Laos, Thailand and Myanmar in the city area. Attending the event are Standing Vice Secretary of Haiphong Party Committee, Chairwomen of Haiphong Friendship Organizations Union Nguyen Thi Nghia and Vice Chairman of Haiphong People’s Committee Nguyen Van Thanh.

Organization of the friendship exchange with Lao, Thai and Myanmar students currently studying in Haiphong during their traditional Tet is the annual activity of Haiphong Friendship Organizations Union and member friendship associations to encourage them and share joyfulness, hoping that they will try their best in study  to deserve their fatherland, preserve the fine relationships nurtured by generations.

With rituals strongly bearing the traditional features and artistic performances, the exchange has brought about a traditional Tet deeply bearing the national features for students of Laos, Thailand and Myanmar with aspirations for a prosperous new year./.
