Since 2017, Hai Phong CIty’s Department of Science and Technology has given consultancy to the city to support 33 innovative startup projects, focusing on key items such as assistance for consulting experts, training skills related to product completion and technology, legal knowledge in business, registration of intellectual property rights, business establishment, business development strategies, business administration, financial accounting, tools, advanced quality management systems, marketing activities, brand development, and many other supportive activities. Almost all the supported projects have so far achieved net profits accounting for 7-10% of total revenue depending on the features of each business sector, continuing to increase over the years. Five enterprises have been recognized as science and technology enterprises; five projects have successfully borrowed capital or raised capital from investors./.
