Dai Thang road project from Pham Van Dong Street to the resettlement area has a road cross-section of 25m with a total investment of over 111.7 billion VND from the city budget. The project began in August 2023 with a total area of land to be revoked for site clearance of 1.6 hectares, of which the land of 106 households laid over a total area of more than 5,355.9m2 will be revoked. However, there are still about 25 households that have not reached an agreement to hand over the site.
At the recent 19th session, the 16th Hai Phong People’s Council passed the resolutions to adjust the policy of increasing the total investment and implementation progress for the Dai Thang Axis Road project. Accordingly, the project’s total investment will be increased from 115.8 billion VND to more than 126.7 billion VND, an incline of more than 10.8 billion VND. More than 111.7 billion VND of the investment capital is from the city budget, and more than 15 billion VND is from the Duong Kinh district budget. The project’s schedule is adjusted from 2022-2024 to 2022-2025. It is expected that with the adjustment of the total investment as well as the project schedule, the Dai Thang Axis Road project in Duong Kinh district will soon be completed on schedule./.
