Put into operation since October 2019, the multi-media library has been debuted to students across the city by the city’s general sciences library. This morning, this special library has come to Du Hang Kenh primary school, Le Chan district.
More than 5,000 book titles of pretigious pulishers in different locations as natural sciences, social sciences, living skills, children’s literature…have given chidlren more choices to select their favorite books. In these scorching days, besides reading right in the library bus, students can take books to their classrooms.
Not only deploying the program in Du Hang Kenh primary school, the city’s general sciences library will take the locomotive library like this to other schools, the association for the blind, residents in the isolated areas in Thuy Nguyen, Tien Lang, Cat Hai…in the coming time, helping them approach books, magazines, TV, Internet. The multi-media locomotive library project named “The light of knowledge” has been launched since 2016. 44 buses like this have been so far deployed in cities and provinces./.
