HAI PHONG ENSURES STABILITY OF IMPORT, EXPORT AND TRANSPORT ACTIVITIES

In order to ensure the stability of import and export activities and cross-border cargo transportation, Hai Phong People’s Committee asked relevant departments and agencies to actively implement Prime Minister’s direction in Document No. 808 issued on January 5^th.

It is also to meet the requirements of COVID-19 prevention. In this document, Prime Minister affirmed that the import, export and transport of goods across borders should continue to be maintained to ensure business operations of the enterprises. Operators of vehicles transporting goods across borders, including ship crew and flight crew from the epidemic area, are still permitted to enter Vietnam. However, they will have to accept strict preventive measures and medical management, and will only be allowed to go to transaction locations to limit the risk of disease spread.
